Production worker 2 shifts

At our company, aluminum profiles are pressed for use in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, among others. In the Extrusion department, you are the quality controller responsible for the press. Without your approval, no profile will leave the press.

What you will do

You check the quality of profiles during the extrusion process. Based on technical requirements — diameter, tolerances, surface finish — you assess whether a profile meets the specifications. With the stretching bench, you influence the final dimensioning.

• You measure and check profiles using various measuring devices
• You decide, in consultation with the press operator, which corrective measures are necessary.
• You adjust the stretch bench to adjust the size
• You make the decision to interrupt the extrusion process if the desired quality is not achieved.
• You find the right balance between production and quality

What do we expect from you?

• You have knowledge of engineering, preferably experience with measurement and measuring instruments
• You are accurate and can make independent decisions
• You dare to stop the process if the quality is not right
• You are proficient in the Dutch language, both orally and in writing
• You are willing to work in two shifts

Employment conditions

No vague promises, just clear terms.

• Gross hourly wage: € 17,71
• Team fee: 20% per worked hour
• Gross monthly salary: about € 3,546 including surcharge
• Employment relationship: two shifts, 38.5 hours per week
• Travel allowance: € 0.23 per kilometer
• Vacation days: 27 days
• Friday: working only 6.5 hours
