Machine operator Venlo

At our company, aluminum profiles are pressed for use in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, among others. The Extrusion department has four extrusion presses where extremely precise profiles are produced — in all possible shapes, sizes, and quantities. We are looking for a press operator who can master the process and optimize it.

What you will do

You are responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing one of the four aluminum extrusion presses. Quality, delivery time, and safety are key priorities. You monitor the daily schedule and ensure that the extruded profiles meet the customer’s specifications.

• You analyze the process conditions per profile and adjust for press speed and temperature.
• You work with dies and know the pressing conditions: die and billet temperature, pressing pressure, pressing speed and cooling
• You keep downtime and scrap share to a minimum
• You switch quickly when the process deviates — creativity and the ability to improvise are indispensable
• You monitor the efficiency of the press process

What do we expect from you?

• You have a technical education at MBO level and broad technical work experience
• You are stress-resistant and flexible
• You have experience with measuring tools
• You can operate an extrusion press yourself
• You work well together in a team
• You are willing to work in two shifts

Employment conditions

No vague promises, just clear terms.

• Gross hourly wage: € 17,71
• Team fee: 20% per worked hour
• Gross monthly salary: about € 3,546 including surcharge
• Employment relationship: two shifts, 38.5 hours per week
• Travel allowance: € 0.23 per kilometer
• Friday: working only 6.5 hours
