CNC Operator in Lomm

What will you do?

Forget standard production work. In Lomm, parts are made for the aviation and energy sectors (think turbine blades). You operate high-tech CNC machines. These can be grinding machines, but also EDM (sparking) or laser equipment.

Your work day:

• Process monitoring: The machines are often automated (sometimes with robots), but you keep a sharp eye on the process. Is everything still running within tolerances?
• Measure and check: In aviation, things listen closely. You constantly check your products with measuring equipment.
• Conversion and setting: With a new series, you make sure the machine is set up perfectly.
• Faults: You solve a minor malfunction immediately yourself so that production can continue.

Who are we looking for?

You do not need to be an aeronautical engineer, but you do need to have technical understanding and work accurately.

• You have experience as an operator in metal or engineering (e.g. CNC, grinding or sparking).
• You can read technical drawings and handle measuring tools.
• You speak good Dutch (in connection with complex work instructions).
• You are willing to work 3-shifts.
