Assemblage Monteur (Trailers)

Do you like turning a bare chassis into a complete working vehicle? Do you not like assembly line work, but want to tinker with unique machines? For a trailer builder in the Wijchen region, we are looking for 100% vakwerk an Assembly Mechanic. Here you will build trailers for special transport that you can be proud of.

What does it get you?

At 100% Vakwerk, we get it right for you. This is what you can expect:

• A good salary: You earn about € 3.405,- bruto per maand (based on 40 hours)
• Working hours: You work in day shift. So just evenings and weekends off.
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per km (from 10 km one way, max. 40 km).
• Development: Don't have all the experience yet? No problem. You are also welcome as a BBL apprentice or starter.
• Atmosphere: A down-to-earth company where the door is always open and colleagues help each other.

What will you do?

The trailers built here are not standard work. Every customer wants something different, so no two days are the same. You receive a freshly painted chassis and build it up completely.

• Mounting: You assemble all parts on the chassis. Think axles, support legs and body parts.
• Connecting: You lay the ‘nerves’ of the trailer. You connect hydraulic hoses, air lines (pneumatics) and lighting (electrical).
• Drawing reading: You work from a technical drawing so you know exactly what this particular customer wants.
• Check: When you are done, test if everything works. Are the lights on? Are the brakes working? You make sure it's safe on the road.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with two right hands and technical understanding.

• You have VMBO or MBO working and thinking level.
• You enjoy tinkering (assembly experience is nice, but technical understanding is most important).
• Do you already have knowledge of hydraulics or electrics? That's a big plus (but you can learn it too).
• You work neatly and meticulously.
• You speak Dutch, English or German.

Where will you be working?

You will go through 100% Vakwerk to work for a large trailer manufacturer in Wijchen. They specialise in heavy transport (up to 200 tonnes). If you drive on the motorway, you are sure to come across their products.

It is a family business where people work hard, but where there is also a lot of laughter. The lines are short: if you have a good idea, you are listened to. Because they design and build everything themselves, you see the whole process up close.
