For a leading company, we are looking for a Machine Operator for a 3-shift operation. This company specialises in precision machining of metal parts and offers high-quality customised solutions. As a Machine Operator, you play a crucial role in the production process and ensure that the CNC machines function optimally.
What will you do?
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting, operating and controlling CNC-controlled machines. You work with advanced technology to manufacture metal parts with high precision. You also monitor the quality of the products and identify any deviations. Your duties include:
- Setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Reading and understanding work instructions.
- Setting up and unstacking products and monitoring the machining process.
- Perform intermediate quality checks with measuring instruments.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
- Spotting and resolving faults in the production process.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimise the production process.
What do we ask of you?
- Technically savvy and willing to learn.
- Knowledge of technical drawing reading is a plus.
- You are quality-conscious, accurate and independent.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift operation (7.75 hours per day, 38.75 hours per week).
- Good command of the Dutch, English or German language.
What do we offer?
- For the first few months, you will have a 'buddy' who will train you all the way for each machine.
- Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre with a maximum of 35 km one way.
