Production worker 2 shifts in Venlo

For our customer Mifa Aluminium, we are looking for a runner/sawyer. The company specialises in the production of aluminium extrusion profiles. Aluminium is pressed through dies (moulds) by machine and the profiles come out of the press machine in long lengths. Your main task is to ensure that the profiles come out of the press correctly and do not bend. Using a special tool, you walk along with the profile being pressed and make sure that some pressure is maintained on the profile to keep it nice and tight. The profile is still hot when it comes out of the press, so it bends quickly! If this happens, rejection occurs. So you have a responsible and challenging job.

As Mifa makes hundreds of different products, the work remains challenging and varied. Each product has different requirements and specifications and many profiles are extremely complex and precise. Customers you will be working for include Airbus, KTM, BMW and Porsche. These customers place the very highest demands on the products so this is a responsible job!

We offer:

• A gross monthly salary of €3.235,21 based on a 38.5-hour working week in 2 shifts (early and late, no night shift). This equates to a net amount of €2.677,42.
• Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with machinery and preferably knowledge of press processes.
• Can work with various measuring tools, such as digital calipers, to carry out quality checks.
• Mastering the Dutch language.
