Operator 2 shifts in Venlo

Do you have experience working with production machines and enjoy working in a 2-shift system?

For our customer Mifa Aluminium, we are looking for a press operator. The company specialises in the production of aluminium extrusion profiles. Aluminium is pressed through dies (moulds) by machine and the profiles come out of the machine in long lengths. Your tasks include setting up these machines according to work instructions. This means that you enter all the parameters for each product, such as pressing speed and temperature. Ultimately, of course, the aim is for the profile coming out of the press to meet all the customer's specifications. You carry out these quality checks using various measuring devices and make any necessary optimisations with regard to press speed and temperature.

As Mifa makes hundreds of different products, the work remains challenging and varied. Each product has different requirements and specifications and many profiles are extremely complex and precise. Customers you will be working for include Airbus, KTM, BMW and Porsche. These customers place the very highest demands on the products so this is a responsible job!

We offer:

• A gross monthly salary of €3.221,19 based on a 38.5-hour working week in 2 shifts (early and late, no night shift). This amounts to €2.677,42 net.
• Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with machinery and preferably knowledge of press processes.
• Can work with various measuring tools, such as digital calipers, to carry out quality checks.
• Mastering the Dutch language.
