R&D Engineer

For our client in Venlo, we are looking for an R&D Engineer.
Our client is a global specialist in designing and manufacturing solutions for the food industry. The entire production process is managed internally, ensuring optimal control over quality, efficiency and flexibility. This leads to smooth development and production of their machines and processing lines, as well as seamless uptake of innovations.
In recent years, they have grown strongly and built a complete new hall. To expand the team, they are therefore looking for an R&D Engineer. In this position, you will work on a daily basis to develop new machines within a creative R&D team. You start by drawing up design specifications and then convert concepts into detailed 3D and 2D designs. You will test these designs in practice and document your findings. You also ensure that the machines are ready for series production, carefully balancing various interests without compromising functionality and hygiene.
We offer:
- A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €5,500 depending on experience.
- Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre
- A 1-year secondment contract or a contract directly with the client, in consultation with the client

We are looking for someone who:
- HBO work and thinking level. Preferably an education towards Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Has experience with SolidWorks
- Proficient in Dutch, German or English.
