R&D Draftsman

For our client in Venlo, we are looking for an R&D Draughtsman.

Our client is a global specialist in designing and manufacturing solutions for the food industry. The entire production process is managed internally, ensuring optimal control over quality, efficiency and flexibility. This leads to smooth development and production of their machines and processing lines, as well as seamless uptake of innovations.

In recent years, they have grown strongly and built a complete new hall. To expand the team, they are therefore looking for an R&D Draughtsman. In this position, you will work with a versatile R&D team to design and develop machines. You will develop ideas into detailed designs in SolidWorks. You also coordinate components and production techniques with suppliers. You find it challenging to simplify designs for serial production, ensuring that functionality is maintained while minimising the number of parts.

We offer:

• A gross monthly salary between €2,750 and €4,000 depending on experience.
• Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre

We are looking for someone who:

• Completed MBO 4 education in mechanical engineering or similar
• Several years of experience or willing to learn the trade
• Proficient in Dutch, German or English.
