As an Operator, you will have the opportunity to learn how different production processes work on a 120-metre machine. You start by learning about the paper cutting machine. This course lasts for a year. You will receive lessons from colleagues and attend internal training courses. This way, you learn everything you need to know to eventually work independently on the production process. On average, you will receive theoretical lessons about twice a month.
Responsibilities:
- Working with machines such as the paper cutting machine.
- Checking that the products are good.
- Participating in classes and training sessions & handing in your homework.
- Making sure it is safe at work.
- Help with improvements in the production process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum MBO3 level, you do not need to know much about engineering, but you must be willing to learn. Candidates from all industries are welcome.
- Motivated to get better at your job.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate well.
- You speak the Dutch language.
- Be able to solve problems.
- Be flexible enough to work a 5-shift schedule. You work 6 days in a row (2x morning shift, 2x afternoon shift and 2x night shift) and then you have 4 days off. This is a continuous rota, so you will also work weekends.
Salary: You will start with a salary of €3100 gross per month. As you learn more processes of the machine, your salary increases. In total, you will go through four steps in five years and after successful completion of internal training, you will earn more than €5000 gross per month.
