Laser operator day shift in Neer
For our client in Neer, a leading company in the metal industry, we are looking for an experienced Laser operator. This company is known for its advanced technologies and high quality in the production of metal products. As a Laser Operator, you will play an important role in the cutting process, where precision and craftsmanship are paramount.
What will you do?
In the role of Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up laser cutting machines. You ensure that metal sheets are cut accurately according to technical drawings and specifications. You also monitor the quality of the products and solve any malfunctions.
Your duties include:
- Setting up, operating and programming CNC-controlled laser cutting machines
- Cutting metal sheets according to technical drawings and specifications
- Checking the dimensions and quality of cut products
- Machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensuring a safe and efficient workplace
This is what we ask of you:
- Experience as a Laser Operator, preferably within the metal industry
- You speak the Dutch, German, English or Polish language
- Knowledge of CNC-controlled laser cutting machines and associated software
- You can read technical drawings and convert them into accurate cutting orders
- Accurate, independent and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to work shifts if required
- Proactive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
